Yes! It’s true. We have customers who swear by the taste of our guava cake, they send a taxi for it whenever they are unable to come to the store themselves!
Q. When should I place an order for a decorated cake?
A. Two to three days before the event is usually sufficient. Special requests may require earlier notice.
Q. Can I have a custom design drawn on a cake?
A. Custom designs can be drawn on a cake for an additional fee. The only designs we are not able to draw, are characters that infringe upon the copyright laws. For some characters we do have figurines to decorate your cake.
Q. How do I place an order?
A. Orders can be placed in person, by phone or fax. All phone and fax orders will be verified by a phone call from one of our friendly staff members.
Q. What is your specialty?
A. Aki's specialty cake is our Guava Cake. It is a mild Hawaiian fruit that we blend together with our batter to create a guava chiffon cake. We fill and ice it with a guava whip cream. It is a very light and refreshing dessert.
Q. I need a cake for today, is it still possible to order one?
A. Same day decorated cake orders are possible Tuesday thru Friday only, if the bakers are still baking cakes for that day. We do stock dessert cakes daily.
Q. I would like to pick-up one of your dessert cakes after work. Can I have one placed on hold for me over the phone?
A. You will definitely want to call us ahead of time and we will put one on hold for you. Our bakers only make a certain amount of dessert cakes everyday and once they sell out we will not receive anymore until the next working day.
